URI Biomedical Engineering Program wins two awards for presentations at the 32nd Northeast Bioengineering Conference! The awards were in the Graduate presentations category. One award was given for a podium presentation and the other for a poster presentation. Of the 6 graduate awards available, URI won two. We submitted a total of 10 papers to the Northeast Bioengineering Conference, being held in Easton, PA, at Lafayette College, April 1st and 2nd, 2006. The URI Biomedical Engineering Program has the largest representation of any school at the conference. The often imitated but never duplicated bi-annual biomedical engineering party will be March 30th. All biomedical engineering majors are welcome as we will enjoy the ever popular Chinese buffet with Sesame Chicken, Beef and Broccoli, Lo Mein, Fried Rice, Chicken Wings, and Egg Rolls.
